GOREM counselling service was born out of passion, genuine love and care for our community. Suicide is increasing day by day, so is depression. Many are traumatized and addicted to drugs, alcohol and so on.
The NHS is overwhelmed, care homes are full of young adults, children and the elderly, marriage is becoming bitter to many, family issues, lack of confidence and so on. Some of them have no one to listen to them, their voices are unheard, and they suffer in silence.
Our aim is to set a professional platform where those who need help can come in by appointment for free. We know that medication cannot solve everything, neither will prayer do. Some things just need to be shared, some need shoulders to cry upon, some just need listening ears and others, support and assistance.
That is what birthed the GOREM Counselling Service. We allow counsellors who have the desire to help to be placed in designated positions so they can deliver seamlessly.
To the glory of God, Camellia is our supervisor, Janet is our treasurer and an amiable man of God, Sunny Otabor is the manager of the GOREM Counselling Service.
